US government sells 4.45 million seized Anthropic shares, cashing out $627 million to repay FTX creditors

Odaily reports: The U.S. government has sold 4.45 million Anthropic shares seized from FTX, obtaining approximately $627 million, with the funds to be used to repay FTX creditors.

According to the S-1 filing submitted by Anthropic, this batch of shares was resold to 9 buyers. Based on the valuation ahead of Anthropic's planned Nasdaq listing under the ticker symbol ANT, these shares are currently worth approximately $3.94 billion. (BeInCrypto)
