Circle Explores Integrating USDC Settlement into Latin American Bank Payment Systems

Odaily: Stablecoin issuer Circle has announced a partnership with global payment technology company ACI Worldwide to explore integrating stablecoin settlement capabilities, including USDC, into existing banking and payment infrastructure in Latin America, with an initial focus on Colombia. The two parties plan to combine ACI's cloud-native payment platform ACI Connetic with Circle's USDC infrastructure to demonstrate how stablecoin settlement can operate alongside traditional payment processes, helping financial institutions evaluate relevant settlement models within their existing operational systems without needing to build separate digital asset payment systems.
