Akash Network Selects Solana as Blockchain Migration Target

Odaily reports that decentralized cloud computing network Akash Network has published an article announcing the selection of Solana as its blockchain migration target. Akash provides decentralized GPU and AI computing power rental services and previously operated an independent blockchain based on Cosmos SDK. In October 2025, Akash announced plans to deprecate its existing independent chain and transition to a shared security architecture, with both the Solana and Ethereum ecosystems under consideration at the time.
