In global stock indices, the Europe 50 Index (EUSTX50) rose 0.46% on the day to 6,108.88 points; the UK FTSE 100 Index (UK100) rose 0.56% on the day to 10,753.8 points; the Germany DAX40 Index (GER40) rose 1.08% on the day to 25,436.9 points.

In commodities, WTI crude oil fell 0.66% on the day to $102.46 per barrel. Brent crude oil fell 0.23% on the day to $115.38 per barrel.
