JPMorgan Leads $4.25 Billion Acquisition Financing, with Jefferies and Other Banks Vying to Participate
Odaily News: Multiple banks are competing to participate in a $4.25 billion debt financing to support Curium's acquisition of radiopharmaceutical company Lantheus Holdings. The financing is planned to be syndicated to investors next year.
People familiar with the matter revealed that JPMorgan, one of Curium's financial advisors, is leading the arrangement of this financing, and another financial advisor, Jefferies Financial Group, has also joined. According to the sources, several other lenders are in negotiations to join the financing, and a larger banking consortium is expected to form soon. Banks are competing for leveraged buyout financing business because such deals typically generate some of the highest fee income in investment banking. (Jinshi)
