OCC: Large Banks Relax Some Digital Asset Business Restrictions, but Improvement in Access to Financial Services Remains Unclear
Odaily Report: The U.S. Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) stated in its latest report that some large banks have relaxed restrictions on digital asset-related businesses, but it remains unclear whether these adjustments have truly improved the ability of related companies to access financial services. The OCC warned that even if banks relax some restrictions, operational-level constraints may still result in some digital asset companies being effectively excluded from the financial services system.
