Morgan Stanley Senior Bond Investor Turns Bullish on US Treasuries for First Time in a Decade
Odaily News: Vishal Khanduja of Morgan Stanley Investment Management is one of the standout bond investors. As yields rose to 20-year highs and began to weigh on economic growth, he turned bullish on US bonds for the first time in a decade. Khanduja co-manages the $4.1 billion Eaton Vance Total Return Bond Fund with Brian Ellis. As of June, the fund had increased its duration—a measure of interest rate risk—to 6.07 years. Khanduja, head of the broad market fixed income team, said this was the fund's first duration overweight in more than a decade.
