U.S. optical communications sector leads declines, Coherent drops over 4%

According to MSX.COM data, the three major U.S. stock indices opened lower across the board, with the Dow down 0.36%, the Nasdaq down 0.51%, and the S&P 500 down 0.37%. The optical communications sector led the declines, with Coherent falling over 4%, while Corning, Lumentum, and Marvell Technology each dropped more than 3%.
