Odaily News: Bitget held its eighth-anniversary offline event today. During a review of the platform's eight-year development journey, Xie Jiaxin, Head of Greater China, stated that Bitget has gradually expanded from a single cryptocurrency trading platform into a universal exchange (UEX) covering diverse scenarios such as equities, commodities, and AI trading. As of the second quarter, non-crypto asset trading volume accounted for 40% of the platform's total, and approximately 1 in every 4 new users began their Bitget journey through rToken.
Looking ahead to the next phase, Xie Jiaxin stated that Bitget will continue to advance its UEX strategy, expand into more diverse assets and trading scenarios, and improve institutional-grade custody and OTC settlement infrastructure, meeting the differentiated needs of various types of institutions through diversified custody and settlement models. Institutional services will also remain an important strategic direction for Bitget in the next phase.
At the event, Bitget also disclosed the progress of the third batch of rewards distribution under the "Peer Program": cumulative rewards distributed reached $3,495,658, with a total of 2,277,318 reward distributions. Xie Jiaxin stated that the platform hopes to translate "user-first" into concrete actions through product development, service upgrades, and user rewards.
