Asseto Partners with AlfaR to Build Digital Transfer Agency Service System, Advancing On-Chain Bookkeeping Tokenization

Odaily News: According to official sources, on October 8, full-stack technology infrastructure and tokenization solutions provider Asseto announced a partnership with licensed fund services provider AlfaR to jointly build a Digital Transfer Agency (DTA) service system. The system is built on Asseto's on-chain infrastructure, enabling fund shares and securities holder registers to be directly recorded and maintained on the blockchain, making on-chain records the official registry of ownership.

The two parties will advance long-term business and technology integration through a joint operation model. Asseto will be responsible for tokenization technology, on-chain infrastructure, and distribution networks, while AlfaR will provide end-to-end fund administration services including investor onboarding, NAV calculation, and transfer agency. The collaboration will start with fund products, connecting the entire process of investor onboarding, subscription, transfer, and redemption, providing asset managers with a one-stop on-chain fund operations service.

According to a September 1 announcement by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), it plans to amend transfer agent rules to allow registered transfer agents to use blockchain as the official master securityholder file for the first time. The joint operation of the DTA service system by both parties will accelerate the implementation of this model.
