Metaplanet: Net Purchase of 1,000 BTC in Q3, Total Holdings Reach 44,000 BTC as of September

Odaily News: Japanese publicly listed company Metaplanet announced today that it net purchased 1,000 BTC in the third quarter of the fiscal year ending December 2026, bringing its total Bitcoin holdings to 44,000 BTC as of September 30, 2026.

In addition, the company conducted Bitcoin sales and buybacks during the quarter to verify its ability to monetize its Bitcoin holdings. Specifically, it sold 10,000 BTC while purchasing 11,000 BTC during the period, resulting in a net increase of 1,000 BTC in holdings.
