OpenAI Launches 28-Day Codex Sprint Plan, Requiring Daily Delivery of Tangible Improvements or Quota Resets
Odaily reports: Thibault Sottiaux, Head of Product and Platform at OpenAI, stated that over the next 28 days, Codex and ChatGPT Work will either ship one update per day that delivers a clear improvement for the majority of users, or undergo a quota reset.
Sottiaux previously said the team has clearly defined its upcoming product goals and, based on user feedback, is focusing its efforts on four areas: simplifying the product, improving efficiency and available quota, and launching breakthrough features and new models. Reports note that following Anthropic's release of Opus 5.5, community discussions comparing Claude Code and Codex in terms of model capabilities, speed, and subscription quotas have increased.
