British Couple Targeted in Home Invasion, Threatened at Knifepoint to Transfer Large Amount of Cryptocurrency

Odaily reports: On December 13, 2025, a young couple in Smith Wood, Birmingham, UK, experienced what is suspected to be a premeditated home invasion at their residence. As the couple returned home and opened the door, three men got out of a nearby vehicle and forced their way into the property, demanding the transfer of a large amount of cryptocurrency; a fourth individual provided instructions to the attackers via video call.

Police stated that the husband was beaten and suffered serious injuries, while his pregnant wife was threatened at knifepoint. After obtaining cryptocurrency and several high-value watches, the attackers fled in what is believed to be a black BMW X3. Crimestoppers is offering a reward of up to £10,000 for information, applicable to information that ultimately leads to the arrest and conviction of those involved.
