Ripple and CSD BR Bring BTG Pactual Fund Shares Records onto XRP Ledger

Odaily News: Ripple and Brazil's licensed central securities depository CSD BR have brought Brazilian investment fund records onto the XRP Ledger in a regulated, real-world environment, with the first phase targeting BTG Pactual fund shares. CSD BR uses XRPL as an additional recording and auditing layer, while its own systems retain legal authority over ownership, registration, custody, and settlement, with over 22 trillion Brazilian reais in registered assets under its management. Fund shares are mapped according to the XRPL multi-purpose token standard, allowing authorized institutions to reconcile on-chain and official records in near real time; the two parties did not disclose the specific funds, scale, or trading volume.
