Today's hot topic: QNT up 4x in a week, surging on bank tokenized deposit network partnership,
Odaily reports: QNT has recently become a market focal point, with the main catalyst likely coming from The Clearing House selecting Quant to provide technical support for a tokenized bank deposit network.
According to related discussions, the network has gained support from 25 major U.S. banks, with Quant taking on the role of interoperability and orchestration layer; in the U.K., seven banks including HSBC, Barclays, and Standard Chartered are also said to have completed real tokenized deposit transactions through Quant. The market interprets such partnerships as the realization of demand for traditional financial assets going on-chain, driving QNT up about 158% in a week, with its price surging from around $70 to near $370 at one point.
Another view holds that Quant's value lies not in public chain traffic, but in the middleware and interoperability capabilities required for interbank asset tokenization. As Fusion nodes and real transaction volumes increase, QNT's value capture as a native staking asset still warrants further observation.
Some traders attribute this rally to institutional narrative combined with a liquidity vacuum, while others warn that the rapid price pullback means the risk of chasing the rally has clearly risen.
