Zest Unveils Bitcoin Collateral Vault Mainnet Demo On-Chain Proof

Odaily News: Bitcoin lending protocol Zest Protocol has released proof of mainnet deployment. The Bitcoin collateral vault mainnet demo can be independently verified, with 3 Bitcoin transactions and 7 Ethereum transactions made public. The product locks Bitcoin on the Bitcoin mainnet vault without wrapping or cross-chain bridging, and supports borrowing stablecoins on EVM chains such as Ethereum.

The feature is currently still a mainnet prototype and not yet fully open for deposits and borrows. Its roadmap is divided into two phases: the first phase restricts Bitcoin settlement paths through pre-signed transactions, and the second phase transitions to BitVM verification. The mainnet prototype is now operational, and Zest Protocol is advancing toward full deployment.
