Bitcoin Core 32.0 enters release candidate testing, developers target October 10 release

Odaily reports: Bitcoin News posted on X platform that Bitcoin Core 32.0 is currently undergoing release candidate testing, with developers targeting an October 10 release. This version can accelerate block validation through parallel database reads, but will not change block generation speed. Four wallet commands will default to the updated partially signed transaction format, while the legacy format remains available on demand. A security patch prevents specially crafted wallet names from executing commands on non-Windows nodes, and in one test reduced unauthenticated HTTP-induced memory growth from approximately 3.2GB to approximately 3MB.
