On-Chain Data Sparks Polymarket IPO Speculation: pPOLY May Become Binance Pre-Access's First Project
Odaily News: Binance Wallet has launched a Pre-Access campaign with PancakeSwap, offering users indirect tokenized exposure to potential upcoming listings of popular companies; Paimon Polymarket SPV Token ($pPOLY) may become the first project and could go live on Binance Alpha at 09:00 UTC on September 24, though Binance has not yet announced the list of first projects.
At the heart of market speculation is an on-chain transfer: a wallet address reportedly commonly used by Binance Alpha received $pPOLY approximately eight days ago. The token's full name is Paimon Polymarket SPV Token, issued by Paimon Finance, representing tokenized exposure to a Polymarket-related SPV. It is not Polymarket's official token, nor does it equate to directly holding Polymarket equity; Pre-Access likewise provides only indirect exposure.
The mechanism disclosed by Binance Wallet shows that users can increase their participation quota through Alpha Points, on-chain bStocks trading volume, and holdings, with assets remaining in users' self-custody wallets. Since the first project has not yet been officially announced, whether $pPOLY corresponds to Polymarket, whether it can become the Pre-Access debut project, and the September 24 launch date all remain at the on-chain inference stage, and the final word should be subject to announcements from Binance Wallet or Binance Alpha.
