Dividend entitlements automatically credited on ex-dividend date, Robinhood upgrades stock token mechanism

Odaily News: Johann Kerbrat, General Manager of Robinhood International and Crypto, stated that dividend entitlements for stock tokens can now be automatically credited on the ex-dividend date, without waiting weeks for the dividend payment date. This mechanism has already covered most stock tokens and will be expanded to more products in the future.

Robinhood stated that stock tokens are tokenized debt securities, are not offered to persons within the United States or to U.S. persons, and are restricted in jurisdictions including Canada, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland.
