Cardano developer IOG warns YouTube channel suspected of AI-tampered livestream scam

Odaily reports: Cardano development organization Input Output Group (IOG) stated that its YouTube channel on Friday livestreamed a video suspected of being AI-tampered, in which Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson promoted a cryptocurrency giveaway event.

The livestream directed viewers to scan a QR code and promised to "double their wealth." IOG reminded users to avoid interacting with the YouTube channel until further notice, and not to click links, send funds, or share personal information. (Cointelegraph)
