SBI Group Makes Strategic Investment in dtcpay, Series A Funding Expanded to $25 Million

Odaily News: Stablecoin payment company dtcpay announced today that it has received a strategic investment from Japanese financial giant SBI Group, expanding its Series A funding total to $25 million. The round was led by Vertex Ventures, a Temasek subsidiary, in April, with participation from Genedant Capital, which manages over $2 billion in assets, and continued backing from Capella Hotels Group founder Kuo Liang-Te. SBI Group stated that this investment marks the beginning of a strategic partnership between the two parties, who will work together to expand the digital asset corridor between Japan and Southeast Asia.

dtcpay is an official Visa member and has issued a compliant stablecoin Visa card; its licensed footprint covers Singapore, Hong Kong, Luxembourg, Australia, the United States, and Canada, among other regions, and continues to expand, providing compliant infrastructure for global stablecoin payments.
