After the Clarity Act setback, Bitwise CIO says the crypto bull market may still continue
Odaily News: Bitwise Chief Investment Officer Matt Hougan has revised his earlier pessimistic view on the Clarity Act's failure to pass, arguing that the crypto bull market is no longer highly dependent on the bill's approval.
The Clarity Act received 49 votes in a U.S. Senate procedural vote, falling short of the 60-vote threshold. Since July 1, Bitcoin's price has risen from around $57,950 and broke through $80,000 in early September; during the same period, the predicted probability of the bill passing within the year dropped from 39% to 14% on prediction markets.
