Analyst: U.S. Investors Sell Off After CLARITY Act Vote Fails, Offshore Markets Still Accumulating
Odaily News: Bitcoin analyst Willy Woo posted on X that after the CLARITY Act's Senate procedural vote failed, cumulative volume delta across exchanges showed Coinbase's CVD accelerating downward to approximately negative 6,659 BTC, reflecting selling by U.S. investors, while Binance's CVD rebounded from lows to approximately negative 5,841 BTC.
He believes the more dominant offshore market is still accumulating, and described this divergence as bullish. During the same period, Bitcoin pulled back from a high of $80,560 and briefly dropped to $74,968; Bybit, OKX, and Bitstamp's CVD stood at approximately negative 582, negative 1,135, and negative 764 BTC, respectively.
