XRP Ledger Payment Upgrade Batch V1.1 One Vote Short of Activation

Odaily News: The XRP Ledger's Batch V1.1 upgrade is just one vote away from official activation. The upgrade supports bundling up to 8 related transactions into a single operation, for example, ensuring that both parties' token swaps are completed simultaneously.

Currently, 27 out of 35 trusted validators are in support, representing approximately 77% approval; XRP Ledger changes require 80% support and must remain above that threshold for 14 consecutive days. RippleX stated on Monday that it has fixed another 11 vulnerabilities, involving signatures, authorization checks, and issues that could potentially cause server crashes. Previously, the original Batch proposal was found to be capable of including other accounts' transactions without approval under certain conditions, and it was never launched.
