SoftBank's SB Energy files domestic securities registration statement in Japan, plans U.S. IPO
Odaily News: SB Energy, a U.S.-based subsidiary of SoftBank Group, filed a domestic securities registration statement in Japan on the 15th in connection with its planned initial public offering in the United States. The maximum domestic fundraising amount in Japan is $500 million (approximately 77 billion yen). SB Energy is expected to list on the Nasdaq market as early as September 2026. The offering price and number of shares have not yet been determined, and preliminary terms are expected to be indicated between September 2026 and February 2027. (Nikkei)
