tZERO Completes New Funding Round Led by Marc Cohodes and Max Cohodes
Odaily News: tZERO stated that this funding round is part of its long-term capital plan and will be used to support business operations, next-stage growth, and the development of its Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) business. The round was led by Marc Cohodes and Max Cohodes, with participation from existing investors Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), Bill Fleckenstein, and partner Dinari, among others, while Neighborhood Intelligence committed to participate. The platform is building infrastructure covering tokenization, trading, custody, and asset servicing around tokenized securities and other assets, helping financial institutions issue and trade assets through regulated blockchain infrastructure. tZERO CEO Alan Konevsky said the company will continue to expand its tokenized financial market infrastructure business and advance toward capital independence, while also expanding tokenization and other derivatives, prediction markets, and spot crypto infrastructure services, and seeking to scale its business through strategic transactions.
