Odaily: Swiss Bitcoin Pay stated that a malicious user may have gained access to its internal systems. To conduct an investigation and protect its infrastructure, the platform has temporarily shut down its servers. The information potentially accessed includes customer email addresses, Bitcoin addresses, IBANs, transaction history, and password hashes; it remains unclear whether any other information was accessed. User funds are safe, and all amounts owed to users will be fully refunded. The date for reopening the servers has not yet been determined, and the team is working on security hardening.
