Kyrgyz Central Bank Establishes Long-Term Strategic Partnership with CertiK, Focusing on Digital Som Security and Digital Asset Regulation
Odaily News: The National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic (NBKR) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with CertiK, formally establishing a long-term strategic partnership to advance cooperation in the areas of digital som security and digital asset regulation. This collaboration marks CertiK's entry into a central bank environment with stringent requirements for security, compliance, and operations, and also provides a replicable model for future similar cooperation with other central banks and highly regulated institutions.
According to the Memorandum of Understanding, the two parties plan to exchange experience and expertise, and explore cooperation in areas including blockchain and digital asset security, security assessment, formal verification, cybersecurity, and operational resilience. CertiK will leverage its experience in digital asset security and risk management to provide technical and strategic support for the relevant cooperation.
