Symbiosis: Approximately 15 BTC Recovered, Final Loss Still Being Calculated, 20% White Hat Bounty Offered to Hacker

Odaily News: Cross-chain protocol Symbiosis stated that an attacker exploited a Bitcoin Bridge vulnerability on September 11. The BTC cross-chain route has been suspended, while other routes including EVM chains, TRON, and TON, as well as Octopools, remain unaffected.

The team has recovered approximately 15 BTC and transferred them to a multi-sig wallet. They have also offered a 20% white hat bounty to the attacker, with the offer valid until September 13. If the attacker fails to return the funds after the deadline, Symbiosis will offer an equivalent reward to anyone who provides valid leads and assists in recovering the funds. The final loss amount is still being calculated.
