Still depends on Devnet-10 stability, Glamsterdam tentatively scheduled to activate on Sepolia on October 6

Odaily reports that Christine D. Kim disclosed that Ethereum developers tentatively plan to activate the Glamsterdam upgrade on the Sepolia testnet at 13:53 (UTC) on October 6, but the timing still depends on the stability of subsequent testing. There is currently no stable Glamsterdam devnet. Devnet-9, which includes 1,000 validators, is still unable to complete finalization normally; Devnet-8 previously discovered a major consensus-layer vulnerability that could cause the entire network to halt, and execution-layer EIP-8037 also has issues requiring implementation updates across clients. Developers plan to continue launching Devnet-10, and if it remains unstable, the Sepolia upgrade time may be delayed.
