Robinhood CEO: Tokenization Can Give Global Users Access to High-Quality Financial Assets, Industry Still in Early Stages

Odaily News: Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev posted on X, stating that tokenization is enabling high-quality financial assets from U.S. capital markets to be accessible to global investors. Although the tokenization industry remains relatively small compared to the scale of global financial markets, its advantages in 24/7 trading, asset programmability, composability, and self-custody are becoming increasingly evident.

He pointed out that traditional financial infrastructure, built on fixed trading hours, closed networks, and multi-layered intermediary systems, is struggling to meet the needs of today's investors. Currently, founders, liquidity providers, traders, and infrastructure teams are all driving the development of the tokenization industry, but it will still take time for the traditional financial system to further embrace this model.
