未获MiCA牌照,币安仍在欧盟维持运营
Odaily Odaily News: Binance had previously announced plans to exit the European Union, but with the July 1 deadline having passed, it continues to operate in the EU through various means. European Central Bank President Christine Lagarde had intervened to push Binance to apply for a license, but the application was not approved, and Binance has withdrawn its license application in Greece. Some EU users have regained trading access through the "reverse solicitation" clause, while others have had their trades routed to the Abu Dhabi entity, which is subject to different regulations. The European Securities and Markets Authority has sent a letter requesting Binance to confirm progress on its orderly exit, and Binance has stated its commitment to achieving long-term compliant operations under the MiCA framework. Data shows that Binance's global spot trading volume share exceeds 45%, while its euro-denominated trading share is approximately 3% to 4%, showing little change from before.
