JPMorgan: Maintains "Overweight" rating on Nvidia, keeps price target at $320

2026-09-04 07:34

Odaily News JPMorgan believes that the core issue Nvidia currently faces is not insufficient demand, but rather supply capacity constraints limiting its growth potential. Nvidia management recently told JPMorgan that if supply restrictions could be lifted, the company's business scale could potentially double year-over-year. After meeting with Nvidia's investor relations team, JPMorgan analyst Harlan Sur maintained an "Overweight" rating on Nvidia with a price target of $320. Nvidia management expects the company's business to grow approximately 70% year-over-year in fiscal 2028, but Sur believes that based on current customer demand, the actual potential growth could be even stronger. Meanwhile, Nvidia's visibility into future demand is also improving. Sur stated that management provided the fiscal 2028 growth outlook ahead of schedule because there is a significant gap between its internal demand assessments and Wall Street forecasts. Releasing this expectation early also helps suppliers and other partners plan production capacity in advance for higher future demand levels. (Sina Finance)
