Robinhood Meme coin MEME's market cap surges past $29 million, up over 1,300x intraday
Odaily News, according to GMGN data, Robinhood Chain Meme coin MEME (A Meme Coin) briefly surpassed a market cap of $29 million, currently reported at approximately $25 million, up over 1,300 times intraday.
MEME is a typical event-driven news Meme coin. Previously, Robinhood announced that its on-chain stock token DEX trading volume surpassed $3 billion within 63 days, now covering over 190 companies including AMC. Subsequently, AMC CEO Adam Aron publicly stated that AMC has nothing to do with the related tokenized stocks, expressing dissatisfaction with words such as "contemptible, outrageous, and disgusting," and said he has asked external securities lawyers to investigate their legality.
These remarks then sparked community memes, with some users interpreting AMC as "A Meme Coin," and MEME quickly surged. Currently, Robinhood has not yet responded to Adam Aron's criticism.
Odaily reminds that this token has seen massive gains in a short period and is an event-driven Meme coin. Its future trajectory may be highly dependent on responses from relevant parties and market sentiment. Please be aware of trading risks.
