Odaily Planet Daily News: Omri Casspi, the first Israeli player to enter the NBA, has announced that his venture capital firm Swish Ventures has completed a $250 million fundraising round for its third fund, bringing the firm's assets under management (AUM) to approximately $800 million. The new fund is expected to invest in about 12 startups, with an average investment of approximately $20 million per deal, focusing on cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, infrastructure, and other sectors, primarily targeting seed and Series A rounds.
Swish Ventures has already invested in 20 companies, including Cognition AI, Applied Compute, EON, Wonderful, and Upwind, 8 of which have reached unicorn valuations. The total valuation of its portfolio companies exceeds $60 billion. (YNetNews)
