Payward postpones IPO to no earlier than Q2 2027

Odaily News: According to sources familiar with the matter, Payward completed an $800 million fundraising round at a $2 billion valuation in November 2025 and confidentially submitted its S-1 registration statement, before shelving its listing plans due to unfavorable market conditions. The company completed the acquisition of derivatives platform Bitnomial in May, and the acquisition of stablecoin payments platform Reap in July, followed by an agreement to acquire Magic Labs' wallet infrastructure business, aiming to transform Kraken from a crypto exchange into a broader financial services platform.
