US stocks closed with AI concept stocks broadly lower, Cadence fell over 7.6%

According to Odaily, data from MSX.COM shows that US stocks closed with the Dow down 0.79%, the S&P 500 down 0.71%, the Nasdaq down 1.03%, and the VIX fear index up 9.52%. AI concept stocks broadly declined, with Cadence down 7.6%, CrowdStrike down 6.9%, Dell down 6.8%, Astera Labs down 5.75%, and Synopsys down 5.63%.
