Anthropic plans to allow existing shareholders to sell shares in IPO

Odaily News, sources familiar with the matter said that Anthropic has been formulating a plan to allow existing shareholders to sell part of their holdings in its IPO. Reports indicate the company is also considering a longer-than-usual lock-up period for share sales after listing. It is currently unclear how many shares existing shareholders will be able to sell in the IPO, nor which categories of shareholders will be eligible to participate. Reports say Anthropic plans to publicly disclose its IPO prospectus after the U.S. Labor Day holiday. The IPO is likely to take place in late September or early October, but Anthropic may also choose to delay the offering.
