Solana double-deflation proposal SGP-0002 reaches quorum threshold, current approval rate 68.56%

Odaily News: Solana's double-deflation proposal SGP-0002 has reached the quorum threshold, with a current voter turnout of 47.26%. Among them, 68.56% voted in favor, and approximately 13 hours remain until voting concludes.

The proposal aims to increase Solana's annual deflation rate from 15% to 30%, shortening the time required to reach the 1.5% terminal inflation rate from approximately 5.7 years to about 2.8 years. It is expected to reduce new issuance by approximately 18.9 million SOL over the next six years.
