Polymarket Withdraws NFL Player Contract Filings, Certifies Three Crypto Price Contracts on Same Day

Odaily News: Prediction market platform Polymarket US has withdrawn two contract filings related to NFL player participation. The contracts had just been certified with the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission, but were withdrawn one day before their scheduled listing date, with the platform yet to publicly disclose the reason.

The contracts were originally designed to predict whether NFL players would participate in at least one offensive or defensive play, settling based on official NFL game records. On the same day, Polymarket also certified Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana price contracts with the CFTC, all structured as paired binary option-style swap contracts. (Bitcoin News)
