Iranian Foreign Ministry: US Policy Toward Iran Is a "Farce"

Odaily News: Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Baghaei said on the 26th that US policy toward Iran is a "complete farce." In a social media post that day, Baghaei stated that the US turned to Bahrain in an attempt to prove that its so-called "coalition" was functioning, but there is little in the way of meaningful economic exchange between Bahrain and Iran. Meanwhile, the US announced it was "suspending" sports and academic exchanges with Iran, even though these exchanges had already largely ground to a halt. Baghaei criticized that the US is imposing additional sanctions on targets already under sanctions, packaging an "empty shell" as a "coalition."
