Nvidia Q2 Revenue Reaches $96.2 Billion, Expected to Break $100 Billion for First Time Next Quarter

Odaily News Chip design company Nvidia reported fiscal 2027 second-quarter results, with revenue of $96.221 billion, more than doubling year-over-year, exceeding both the company's prior guidance of $91 billion and market expectations of $92 billion by more than $4 billion. Operating profit was $63.734 billion, more than doubling year-over-year.

Data center revenue reached $89 billion, up 18% year-over-year, accounting for 92.5% of total revenue. Among this, Hyperscale business revenue was $48.7 billion, while ACIE business revenue was $40.3 billion. Nvidia stated that Blackwell Ultra GB300 has begun shipping, and revenue related to the Chinese market, including H200, accounts for less than 1%.

Nvidia expects fiscal 2027 third-quarter revenue to reach $108 billion, up approximately 12% quarter-over-quarter, marking the first time quarterly revenue will surpass $100 billion. CEO Jensen Huang stated that AI infrastructure construction is advancing at full speed, and AI GPU systems based on Vera Rubin have entered full production stage. (ZDNet)
