期权市场提前压住英伟达股价截至本周末可能向任一方向波动约6%
Odaily Planet Daily News NVIDIA (NVDA.O) will release its fiscal 2027 second-quarter earnings report after the US market closes on Wednesday. Wall Street generally expects the company to continue delivering strong growth, but investors' focus has shifted beyond just how much revenue can grow to whether AI capital expenditure can be sustained and whether NVIDIA can reduce its dependence on a few hyperscale customers.
The options market has already priced in significant post-earnings volatility. Based on current options prices, traders expect NVIDIA's stock to move approximately 6% in either direction by the end of this week. Based on Tuesday's closing price, a 6% upside could push the stock to around $225, approaching the record above $236 set in May; a 6% downside could see it fall back below $202.
So far this year, NVIDIA's stock is still up 14%, but it has retreated more than 10% from its May high. More notably, NVIDIA's stock has fallen on the day following each of its last four quarterly earnings releases. Morgan Stanley analysts recently said they are not optimistic that this trend will reverse. (CNBC)
