AI startup Wrtn completes over $72 million Series C funding round, valued at $870 million

Odaily News, South Korean AI startup Wrtn Technologies has announced the completion of a Series C funding round of approximately 100 billion Korean won (approximately $72.32 million), with a post-investment valuation of 1.2 trillion Korean won (approximately $870 million). Coreline Ventures, Eugene Asset Management, Goodwater Capital, Antler Global, Woori Venture Partners, Sui Generis Partners, the Korea Development Bank, and Capstone Partners participated in the round. The company has built a platform that allows users to create or enter fictional worlds and interact with AI characters. The new funds will be used to accelerate global market expansion. (Bloomberg)
