Odaily reported that POSCO International, South Korea's largest trading company, has tokenized trade receivables on the Avalanche blockchain, completing a real-world asset on-chain transaction. About a month ago, POSCO International had completed a similar pilot on Injective. POSCO's U.S. subsidiary partnered with trade finance platform Olea and asset-backed fintech company Intain. Intain, after using AI to verify invoices, purchase orders, and shipping documents, validated and recorded the receivables on its Avalanche-based Layer 1 network. POSCO International generates $22.2 billion in annual revenue, spanning steel, energy, and battery materials, and operates over 80 overseas branches.
