The Zcash community plans to conduct a token-holder vote regarding the upcoming NU7 network upgrade, with a minimum participation threshold of 1 million ZEC. The snapshot is expected to take place at 19:00 UTC on the 24th, corresponding to a mainnet block height of approximately 3,459,350. Eligible assets must be spendable, shielded ZEC held in the Ironwood pool at the time of the snapshot. Voting will open on August 25 and close at 19:00 UTC on September 14. Supporting wallets include Zodl, Vizor, Zkool, and the Keystone hardware wallet. The vote will be conducted in a privacy-preserving manner, with only aggregated data published—no individual voting details will be disclosed.
