摩根资管:投资级债券发行井喷不足为惧,市场企稳料吸引大量买家回归
Odaily News, Morgan Asset Management portfolio manager Kelsey Berro stated that the investment-grade bond market will see a busy issuance period in September, but demand for corporate bonds remains strong, and concerns about oversupply may be overstated. Berro said on Monday that market expectations for September issuance volumes are wide-ranging, between $175 billion and $250 billion. She noted that credit portfolio managers believe even if supply reaches $250 billion, "it is not a problem," though uncertainty around the final issuance size makes it harder for market participants to prepare in advance.
Berro warned that if the heavy supply in September is absorbed smoothly by the market, investors currently sitting on the sidelines may quickly enter. "Funds will flood into the market," she said. Any signs of market stabilization could attract a significant wave of buyers back.
