Odaily News: According to monitoring by ZachXBT, after reviewing relevant evidence, he stated that two U.S. investment platforms, BitcoinIRA and iTrustCapital, may have experienced a data breach this year, but neither appears to have publicly disclosed it as of yet. The leaked information is reportedly said to include personal profiles, investment portfolios, bank and custodial account details, verification status, and more. ZachXBT cited an example where an attacker known as "Tiffany" used related databases in June this year to target a BitcoinIRA user and steal over $1.2 million. ZachXBT stated that he contacted both companies for comment on August 21 but had not received a response as of the time of writing.
