Odaily Planet Daily News: Sandeep Nailwal posted on X, stating that the team is working on a proposal to reform staking and tokenomics. The proposal includes: introducing a native staking mechanism similar to an L1 on Polygon PoS; allocating the full priority fee from each transaction to POL stakers; increasing staking rewards to nearly double the current level, with funds sourced entirely from real network fees rather than inflation; providing additional benefits to POL stakers, potentially including gas fee discounts; and expanding the sPOL locking scale to maintain liquidity and support its use in DeFi. Sandeep Nailwal stated that Polygon Labs will write the relevant code and submit it to the community forum for approval.
