Keeta Issues 72-Hour Ultimatum to Attacker: Full Fund Return May Lead to Bug Bounty Discussion

2026-08-23 01:53

Odaily reported that Keeta Network CEO Ty has sent a letter to the attacker behind the recent breach of the payment public chain Keeta, stating that the investigation has made substantial progress. Evidence capable of identifying the attacker has been collected, including IP addresses associated with the attack, infrastructure information such as VPNs and VPSs used, user agents and technical environments that initiated unauthorized requests, related email addresses, and details on the software and infrastructure service providers utilized. The evidence has been preserved and submitted to relevant authorities. Ty demanded that the attacker return all funds obtained from the attack within 72 hours, with repayment acceptable in KTA, ETH, or USDC. If the funds are fully returned, Keeta Network is willing to offer a certain reward and resolve the matter without pursuing legal action. Should the deadline pass without repayment, the company reserves all rights to pursue legal action and recover the funds.
